Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any time, and we'll confirm when it's done. Here's how to ask and what gets removed.
Last updated 29 July 2026
How to ask
Either of these works — whichever is easier:
- Tell Tukan in chat.Send us a message saying you want your data deleted. We'll confirm it with you and action it.
- Email hello@tukandoit.com from any address, telling us the phone number you use with Tukan so we can find your records.
We don't ask you to fill in a form or create an account to do this, and we won't try to talk you out of it.
What gets deleted
- Your messages to Tukan, including any photos, videos and voice notes you sent.
- Your contact details — phone number, name and any email you gave us.
- Your job records: what you asked for, which tukang we introduced, and how it went.
What we may keep, and why
Where the law requires us to retain a record, we keep the minimum needed and nothing more. We may also keep information with your identity stripped out — for example, that a job in a given area was completed at a given price — because it carries no personal data and it is what lets us quote fair prices to other people.
Deleting your data means we lose the history of your past jobs. If you come back later, we start from scratch.
How long it takes
We action deletion requests within 30 days and confirm when it's done. Usually it's much faster — we're a small team, not a ticket queue.
If you are a tukang
The same applies. You can also ask us to stop sharing your contact details with customers while staying in our network — just say so in chat, and we'll stop sharing without removing you.
