Terms of Service
The short version: Tukan introduces you to tukang we have vetted. We are not the builder, and the work you agree with them is between you and them.

Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and PT. Watt Waves Agency (Sunset Road 819, Kuta, Bali 80361, Indonesia), which operates Tukan. By messaging Tukan or using this site, you accept them. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.
What Tukan does
You tell us about a home repair in chat. We work out what the job needs, and introduce you to tukang from our network who do that work in your area — normally two or three, with their name, trade and phone number. We then check back to see whether you reached them and how the work went. We currently serve Uluwatu & wider Bali.
Tukan is assisted by AI. Replies you receive may be generated automatically, and a person reviews the significant ones.
What Tukan is not
We introduce tukang. We do not carry out the work. Tukang are independent tradespeople, not our employees, agents or subcontractors. When you engage one:
- The agreement for the work — scope, price, timing, payment — is between you and them.
- You pay them directly. Tukan does not handle your money and does not take payment for the work.
- They are responsible for the quality and safety of what they do, and for their own licences, permits and insurance.
What vetting means
We only introduce tukang we have checked and are willing to stand behind, and we track how each job turns out. That is a genuine filter, but it is not a guarantee: we cannot promise that a particular tukang will be available, will turn up, will quote a particular price, or that their work will meet your expectations.
If an introduction goes badly, tell us. We take it seriously, it affects whether we keep recommending that person, and we will look for someone else for you.
What we ask of you
- Give us accurate information about the job — a wrong description wastes a tukang's trip.
- Treat the tukang we introduce you to fairly and pay what you agree with them.
- Use Tukan for genuine home repair requests, not to harvest contact details, advertise, or send abusive or unlawful content.
- Don't use the contacts we share to build a competing list or pass them on commercially.
We may stop serving anyone who abuses the service or mistreats people in our network.
What it costs
We do not currently charge homeowners for introductions, and Tukan does not process payments. If that changes, we will tell you clearly before any charge applies. You are always responsible for what you agree to pay a tukang directly.
Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Tukan is not liable for loss, damage, injury or cost arising from work carried out by a tukang, from any agreement you make with them, or from a tukang being unavailable, late or unsatisfactory. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
The service is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Your data
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Ending it
You can stop using Tukan at any time — just tell us in chat and we will stop messaging you. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service develops, and will change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in chat.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Indonesian courts.
